Tag: classAfter a long time of waiting (after all 4.0.1/4.0.2/4.0.3 were released in Korea in December 2012 / January-March 2013), we finally have an official info about 3rd of new classes planned for the Aion!
It will be called “Aethertech” and basically it’s a tech “mount” your character is using. It is using both short and long-range attacks with rail guns, blades, electric whips, gigantic fists, and even rocket launchers!
Korean PTS of 4.5 will lunch at 29th July 2013 so hopefully we will see more detailed information soon! For now take a look of official trailer and screenshots! 🙂

NCSoft West recently added two new videos of new classses – Gunslinger (Gunner) and Songweaver (Bard), as well as video showing new 4.0 zones – Katalam, Danaria, and the Idian Depths! Enjoy! 🙂
Today, newest official expansion 4.0 (part 1) went live on Koreans Aion servers! Thanks to that, we can enjoy a ton of official multimedia including screenshots of new content, concept arts and video trailer!

Today the newest Aion 4.0 part 1 was implemented on Korean Public Test Server (PTS)! It mainly focus on level cap increase to 65, new zones, skills, items, instances, new forst and… new “Gunner” class 🙂
It seems that “Aion 4.0” expansion will be split into 3 major “updates/parts” – part 1 will go live on 20th December, part 2 on 16th January 2013 (with Bard class), part 3 around end of 1st Q of 2013 (with Raider class).

Today, K-Aion has published first info and concept art of “Bard/Musician” class (name still unofficial!).
From the official NA information about this class called “Troubadour” we know that:
- The Troubadour uses magical melodies and songs to heal group members, and weaken or attack enemies.
- Though Troubadours have healing powers, they’re not just support! They could be a real force in PvP…
- Troubadour can be compared to a cross between cleric and spiritmaster.
- The class’s “skill tempo” isn’t fast, and though Troubadours are (currently) not a difficult class to play, they can be very adaptable to the needs of the group.
- Troubadours wear cloth armor.
